    Under the direction of the Human Services Director, the Business Division Manager serves as the primary fiscal agent of the department, managing agency clerical and accounting support supervisors, providing administrative managers support in the development of agency budgets, record keeping and report preparation.

    Provides advice, support and assistance to department managers and supervisors in the preparation, formulation and tracking of department/program budgets, revenues and expenditures. Provides assistance in determining and recommending program rates, overhead costs, facility costs, revenue projections or other activities. Advise managers concerning contract programs, funding sources or legislative changes at the state or federal level that could have an impact on department revenues or funding sources.

    Establishes accounting procedures to assure consistency with Shawano County’s Finance Department policies and procedures and for serving as the primary liaison with the Finance Department.

    Supervises department clerical and accounting supervisors to include such duties as:
    – Conducting performance reviews
    – Planning, assigning and prioritizing work activities and projects
    – Recommending disciplinary actions
    – Training, orienting and instructing personnel in job responsibilities and duties
    – Interviews, selects and hires accounting and clerical support personnel

    Work Requirements:
    -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
    -Minimum of three years related to accounting and supervisory experience.
