    Join a fast paced and collaborative environment. This position will excel with a detail-oriented individual who enjoys data and creating in depth analysis of the many moving pieces that occur throughout the financial year in local government.

    The position requires an ability to analyze complex financial issues and determine the appropriate solutions. Responsibilities include a broad scope of professional accounting and financial services, with an emphasis on working with the City’s annual budget, capital projects, and Enterprise funds. This position is responsible for ensuring that the general ledger is accurate, the City’s financial record keeping is in accordance with GAAP and GASB and is project manager for the audit process. The position will perform special projects as required and perform analysis of various functions relative to the City’s financial health (budget, cash flow, debt, user fees) on an as needed basis.

    Qualifications include graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field and at least two years of experience in governmental finance and accounting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

    Salary: $89,555 – $105,228
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
