The Village of Mukwonago seeks a knowledgeable, ethical, and forward-thinking Finance Director to provide strong financial leadership and support the community’s long-term fiscal health. The ideal professional will bring deep expertise in municipal accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls, along with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to elected officials, staff, and residents. Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration is required.

– Certified Public Accountant or Certified Public Finance Officer certification (or ability to obtain).

– Considerable experience in municipal accounting or financial administration, including local government operations.

– Any equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
