    FINANCE OFFICER
    WALWORTH COUNTY METROPOLITAN SEWERAGE DISTRICT

    The Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District (WalCoMet) located in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking to fill the position of Finance Officer due to a retirement.
    Minimum requirements include completion of college level coursework with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and two (2) years municipal or public bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred. Human resources experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP Accounting software or similar software is strongly preferred.
    The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. The individual should possess the ability to work together as a member of a team and be skilled in the areas of communication (verbal and written), customer service (internal and external), and in presenting information such as written documents and spreadsheets. Also required are strong computer skills.     This is an exempt position with an annual salary starting at $89,593, depending on qualifications, and an excellent benefits package. Position is open until filled with the first review of applications on July 6, 2023.
