The Iowa County ADRC/Social Services Department is seeking applications for a full-time Business Manager. This management position is salaried, reporting directly to the Social Services Director and indirectly to the County Finance Director. Primary duties include but are not limited to managing all accounting functions of the ADRC/Social Services Department as well as manage the administrative staff of this department. Key areas of responsibility include developing and managing department accounting policies and practices, preparing and monitoring department budget operations, management and oversight of ADRC transportation programs and training and development of office staff.
Minimum qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related field, three (3) years of recent professional accounting experience and two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role. Preferred experience with GASB and governmental accounting desired. Must have established proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and in particular, advanced skill with Microsoft Excel based in a business or government office setting.
Salary for this exempt position will be based upon candidates’ qualifications, with a current range of $28.31/hr. – $31.46/hr. A generous comprehensive benefit package will be provided.
