    The Village of Menomonee Falls Utilities Department is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Under the direction of the Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director, performs senior-level professional financial analysis and accounting work to support the fiscal health of the Village. Leads complex budget and financial modeling efforts, prepares and analyzes financial reports, and provides technical guidance to departments on accounting, budgeting, and financial systems.     QUALIFICATIONS
    1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
    2. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in governmental accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, or payroll administration; CPA, CPFO, CPP, or master’s degree preferred.
    3. Valid State of Wisconsin driver’s license or ability to obtain one upon hire.

    A combination of equivalent experience, education, or professional training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position as determined by Human Resources may be considered.

    SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

    Pay Range Information:
    The full pay range of the position is $72,030.40 to $103,001.60. The anticipated starting salary is $72,030.40 – $85,924.80. It is not typical for someone to be hired at or near the top of the salary range. The specific compensation offered to a candidate is reviewed and based off a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, certifications, and internal equity.

    Work Schedule:
    Standard Village Hall work hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.

    Telecommuting:
    This position may be considered for telecommuting. Telecommuting may not be appropriate for all employees or positions within the Village. The option to participate in the Telecommuting Policy is entirely at management’s discretion on a case-by-case basis.

    Physical Requirements
    Position requires extreme accuracy and prolonged sitting in the performance of daily duties and frequent repetitive keyboarding motion for preparing reports and other documents. The position also requires walking and some standing and lifting of boxes. Must be able to travel occasionally as needed.
