Accountant – Full Time
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Director performs a variety of accounting, financial and managerial duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Approve AP invoices and journal entries.
-Process weekly check run and monthly journal entries.
-Prepare bank reconciliations.
-Assist with budget process and cash flow projections.
-Complete financial analysis for decisions.
-Oversee the fixed asset process.
-Develop KPI’s and reporting via a dashboard.
-Develop reports in financial system.
-Setup and maintain vendors and complete 1099s.
-Assist in establishing and maintaining uniform accounting policies and procedures.
-Assist with annual audit preparation and requests.
-Create and monitor internal controls through internal audits.
-Assist with system upgrades and testing.
-Other duties and projects as assigned.
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
-Five years progressive accounting and financial analysis experience desired. Government experience is a plus.
