    Salary: We offer excellent benefits, with the anticipated starting salary for this position ranging $66,709.50 – $76,245, depending on qualifications.

    This position is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the utility accounting division for the City of Oshkosh. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and statutes. Specific duties include:

    • Manage and supervise daily operations of the utility accounting division
    • Maintain the general and subsidiary ledgers and journals for water, sewer, and stormwater utilities
    • Provide quality customer service with a team-oriented approach to internal and external customers
    • Actively participate as part of the Finance management team focusing on problem solving, visioning and succession planning

    Required minimum qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area.
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.
