Finance Director
Rock County, located in South Central Wisconsin, population of 160,000, is seeking candidates for the Finance Director position. The Finance Director provides leadership in advising the County Board and departments on fiscal policy and setting strategic direction of the County’s finances.
The optimal candidate must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, have a minimum of five (5) years of responsible work experience in governmental accounting and auditing, and a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree and C.P.A is preferred.
